He has risen. He is not here.

2 Corinthians 5

….For we know that if our earthly home, which is merely a tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God- a home that is not made by hands, eternal in the heavens. And while we are in this tent, we groan, because we crave to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling. (Assuming, of course, that by being stripped of this clothing, we will not be found naked). For indeed, while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened- not that we want to be stripped of our clothing, but because we want to be clothed over so that what is moral might be swallowed up by life. Now, the one who prepard us for this very thing is God Himself, who also gave us the Spirit as a guaranteed down-payment. 1-5
….Therefore, we are always confident and know that when we are at home in this body, we are absent from the Lord, (for we walk by faith, and not by sight). Again, we are confident, and would prefer rather to be absent from this body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore, whether we are at home with the Lord, or away from him, our aim is to be pleasing to him. For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due to them for what they have done in the body, whether good or bad. 6-10
….Therefore, since we know the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade people; But what we truly are is known by God, and I hope that it is also known by your conscience. We are not commending ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you might have a response to those who boast only in appearances, and not in what is in the heart. For if we are “out of our mind,” it is for God, but if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For the love of Christ constrains us, because convinced that one has died for all, therefore all have died. And he did for all so that all who live might no longer live for themselves, but instead, that they would live for him who died and was raised. 11-15
….And so, from now on, we regard no one according to worldly standards. Even if we have regarded Christ in such a way previously, we no longer do so. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation. The old has passed away. Look! The new has come! All of this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation: That God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting people’s trespasses against them and entrusting to us this message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors on Christ’s behalf, as God makes his appeal through us. We beg of you, on behalf of Christ, become reconciled to God! For he made him who did not know sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him. 16-21
