He has risen. He is not here.

1 John 1

….This is what we proclaim to you: what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands- all concerning the word of life. It was this very life that was revealed and we have seen it. And now we are testifying to it and proclaiming this eternal life to you which was with the Father and revealed to us. What we have seen and heard, we now announce to you, so that you also might have fellowship with us (and our fellowship is, in fact, with the Father and with his son, Jesus Christ). We are writing these things to you, so that our joy may be made complete. 1-4
….This is the message which we heard from him and proclaim to you: God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in him. If we say that we have fellowship with God, yet we continue to walk in darkness, we are lying and not practicing the truth. But, if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus, his son, cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we not guilty of sin, we are lying to ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we portray God as a liar, and his word is not in us. 5-10
